For the Port Pavilion on Broadway Pier, a 45 ‘ x 16′ exterior wall sculpture, Tidal Radiance, is combined with an enviroment of projections to evoke tides and sea life. After dark, Tidal Radiance becomes a shimmering, organic form seen from near and far. The artwork is visible to boats, pedestrians and motorists along the Embarcadero promenade.

The University of Massachusetts Medical School is currently showcasing videos of the visual and performance mock-ups conducted for the Albert Sherman Center. Enclos is providing comprehensive design/build services for the building’s exterior, including testing of the glass, aluminum, terracotta and granite systems that compose the building envelope. These materials compose 1,775 custom curtainwall panels, including NBK’s terracotta tiles with varying textures and patterns.

To meet the growing demand for Nysan Solar Control solutions, Hunter Douglas Contract announced today that it will integrate production and sales of Nysan and Hunter Douglas Contract.
“The integration will provide a one-stop-shop for all solar control applications,” said Boyd Goodson, General Manager, Nysan Solar Control. “The integration will offer the market an unparalleled range of internal and external window coverings at several budget levels.”
As a result of the integration, architects and designers will benefit from increased efficiency of production, turnaround of custom orders, and a simpler specification process.
“When specifying window coverings, architects will now work with one team that will tailor our wide range of solutions to fit the needs of their project,” said Rich Ries, General Manager, Hunter Douglas Contract Window Coverings.
Nysan Solar Control will continue to develop new products that will be available through Hunter Douglas Contract. Current product categories include: external venetian blinds, daylight venetian blinds, skylight shading systems, motorized/manual roller shades, external louver systems and other custom solar control solutions.
